wow, i'm so proud of how far you've come, and the woman you have become. even through the pain and wrong turns, God still chose to use you in ways you'll only discover through the wonders around you. stay strong amiga, and know that we (as the fellow christians we should be) are praying for you, and there is an inherent greatness present within you, so let God take control of everything.

Have a blessed life sister in Christ,
random person who loves to see you smile

I found this blog by searching for "Find in me, thine all in all." I also have struggled with similar things, and continue to..

But I have never had a girlfriend. I don't really think this has been accident, because I know I would have fallen in every possible pitfall, and only now am beginning to approach a level maturity where I am ready.

I'm glad you found God, and have begun to understand Him.

I gained some consolation from knowing a LOT of people go through that

Wow! I really have been feeling God's call on my life but am so hemmed in by the past - I've been reading up on stuff about letting God heal your hurts & release you to be free in Him - I actually read that verse yesterday about the Lord doing a new thing (Isaiah 43 v 18 - 19) - how amazing that even now He's led me to reading your words of encouragement on this site! I've no idea who you are, but keep letting Him work through you!
Blessings, Leah

Me again! On reading thru the article a second time I forgot that I meant to say that whoever wrote this basically is going/has gone thru exactly the same things as I have - it's like you're writing what's in my heart too!!
Plus I read Lady In Waiting years ago - think I need to read it again :)

Hi, I came across this webpage simply by typing in the words "Find in Me thine All in all" which happens to be the title of this page & also the words to a well-loved hymn which God has been impressing on my heart lately - I feel Him telling me to look for my everything in Him alone & not in a possible future husband. All I can say is I totally agree with what you've written here & just recently have realised how I need to trust God more & not idolise marriage as I have been. It's a real struggle as I approach 30, but I am confident the Lord will give me peace. Thanks for sharing your struggles & rays of light :) Praying God will perfect His will in all our lives, Leah

Talentless! Highly doubtful my darling. What are talents anyways? Our society holds certain endowments to be talents, but it's nonsensical! You make a fantastic point that the things we don't suceed at are generally things we don't need to complete God's plans for our lives.
Lovely to read the update :D I may be able to make ti to frisbee tomorrow so hopefully I will see you there if I do.

You must keep me posted on your life because one day I will actually leave.

wow....real good thoughts Sarah. its crazy how God really has specific purpose for our life. It reminds me of how we are the body of Christ & each of us play a part in making the whole, and if we are not fulfilling the place that God has for us, then we will not be in His will or as efficient or effective as we could be. Not necessarily that we are going against Him, but we could better use us in a different way. thats something I have been learning along the way, & its awesome how small revelations like yours really help guide us in the right path to be molded into who He wants us to be!
